On June 6th, 2026, the Robotics Club was officially established to bring together students who are passionate about engineering, technology, and innovation. The club provides a collaborative environment where members can explore robotics through hands-on projects, competitions, workshops, and community engagement.

On June 6th, 2026, the Life and Health Science Club was officially established to provide a supportive environment for students to engage with the community, serve others, and gain valuable insight into the healthcare field.

GYF Volunteers Participate in ABC Campaign Kick-Off

Vancouver, Canada — May 23, 2026: Global Youth Foundation (GYF) participated in the ABC campaign kick-off event, supporting community outreach and civic engagement initiatives for Ken Sim. During the launch, we had the opportunity to interact directly with Ken Sim and several city councillors. These conversations provided us with an inside look at local governance, municipal leadership, and the organizational structure behind city-wide civic campaigns.

Following the initial launch event, we took part in door-to-door canvassing, visiting various residential neighborhoods across Vancouver. We connected directly with local residents on their doorsteps to share campaign information and listen to their thoughts on community matters. This grassroots approach allowed us to hear firsthand from community members about their daily priorities, giving us a clearer perspective on the public issues that matter most to Vancouverites.

In addition to contributing to the outreach effort, this civic experience allowed us to gain several practical insights and develop valuable skills, including:

• Understanding Civic Systems: Interacting with political leaders and campaign organizers gave us a practical understanding of municipal politics, grassroots mobilization, and how public campaigns operate.
• Active Listening and Empathy: Speaking with a wide demographic of residents required us to listen attentively to diverse points of view, helping us understand the varying needs and concerns within the community.
• Effective Public Communication: Presenting campaign ideas clearly and politely on the spot enhanced our ability to communicate effectively under real-world conditions with people from all walks of life.
• Community Awareness: Walking through different neighborhoods and speaking with residents provided a deeper appreciation for the social dynamics and diverse perspectives that shape the city of Vancouver.

Participating in the ABC campaign kick-off allowed us to experience civic engagement firsthand while building strong communication and leadership skills. We remain dedicated to participating in diverse community initiatives that foster professional growth and public awareness. Global Youth Foundation Volunteers Participate in Vancouver Marathon 2026

Vancouver, Canada — May 3, 2026: Global Youth Foundation (GYF) participated as volunteers in the annual Vancouver Marathon, assisting with the event’s daily operations. Our team was responsible for managing the Gear Check station, where runners store their personal belongings before the race. We worked together to ensure that the process ran smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.

The assignment required steady coordination, as we received, sorted, and secured bags for a large number of participants. After the race, as runners returned to collect their items, we focused on locating and returning each bag accurately to keep wait times to a minimum. The positive feedback and appreciation from the runners provided us with a meaningful experience and a strong sense of accomplishment.

In addition to supporting the community event, the experience allowed us to develop and refine several practical skills, including:

• Organization and Sorting: Handling a large volume of items helped us learn how to maintain an orderly storage system and locate items quickly.
• Problem-Solving Under Time Constraints: We learned to manage small issues, such as damaged or misplaced labels, calmly and efficiently without causing delays.
• Clear Communication: Interacting with a diverse group of tired runners improved our ability to provide helpful, patient, and polite service under fast-paced conditions.
• Team Collaboration: The success of the operation relied on clear communication and division of labor, helping us synchronize tasks effectively.

Global Youth Foundation Launches Volunteer Team and Mobilizes Youth for Vancouver Marathon 2026

Vancouver, Canada — April 23, 2026：Global Youth Foundation (GYF) proudly announces the official launch of its GYF Volunteer Team, marking a major step forward in its mission to cultivate youth leadership, community engagement, and social responsibility. As part of its inaugural initiative, GYF is calling for volunteers to participate in the upcoming Vancouver Marathon on May 3, 2026, one of the city’s largest and most anticipated public events.

The newly established GYF Volunteer Team is dedicated to building a community that “gives, learns, and grows together.” Through structured volunteer opportunities, the organization aims to:

• Support meaningful community initiatives
• Create real-world social impact
• Provide youth with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

For the Vancouver Marathon, GYF volunteers will be stationed at the start area near Stanley Park (Brewery Restaurant by the tennis courts), taking on key operational and support roles. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with start area setup
• Guiding and organizing participants at the starting line
• Supporting course marshalling under coordinator direction
• Encouraging runners as cheerleaders and motivators
• Distributing water and supplies to participants

“This is more than just a volunteer opportunity—it’s a platform for youth to engage with the community, gain hands-on experience, and be part of a major city event,” said a GYF representative. “We want students to step out of the classroom and contribute meaningfully to society.”

Participants will benefit from:

The initiative also reflects GYF’s broader vision of integrating education with real-world impact, empowering students not only academically but also socially and globally.

Global Youth Foundation Speech & Debate Club Excels at World Scholar’s Cup Vancouver Round

Vancouver, Canada-April 20, 2026：Global Youth Foundation (GYF) proudly announces that its Speech & Debate Club students achieved outstanding results at the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) Vancouver Round (Junior Division), held on April 13, 2026. Competing as Team 101, the GYF delegation earned multiple Gold and Silver Medals across individual and team events and secured qualification for the Global Round.

Led by Team Leader Alex Wang and coached by Angela Zheng, Founder of the Global Youth Foundation Speech & Debate Club, the team demonstrated exceptional performance in Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, and Scholar’s Bowl.

As a team, GYF students earned multiple Team Awards, reflecting strong collaboration and consistent excellence across all competition categories.

“The World Scholar’s Cup challenges students to think globally, argue logically, and communicate effectively,” said Alex Wang. “We are incredibly proud of our students’ discipline, growth, and achievements on this international platform.”

Coach Angela Zheng added, “These results reflect months of rigorous training in structured argumentation, academic writing, and critical thinking. More importantly, students have developed confidence, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to engage with complex global issues.”

The Global Youth Foundation Speech & Debate Club provides a comprehensive training system integrating:

• Intensive mock competitions and personalized feedback

Global Youth Foundation Launches Math Club for Youth

White Rock, BC – September 02, 2025：The Math Club is founded and dedicated to helping students improve their mathematical abilities by focusing on practical problem-solving. Our club tackles challenging homework questions, explains tricky concepts, and works through solutions together in a supportive setting.

Members collaborate to explore multiple ways of approaching problems, discuss strategies, and clarify doubts. This interactive process helps students build stronger reasoning skills and gain a deeper understanding of the material.

By working on real problems and supporting each other, our club encourages active learning and helps members become more confident and capable in mathematics.

Global Youth Foundation Launches MTG Club for Youth in Greater Vancouver

Vancouver, BC – September 01, 2025：Global Youth Foundation (GYF) is proud to announce the establishment of the GYF MTG Club, founded by a talented local high school student and recent Magic: The Gathering (MTG) club champion. This young player, full of passion and potential, will soon represent the club at the upcoming regional tournament.

As one of the world’s most renowned strategy card games, Magic: The Gathering is more than just a game — it sharpens logical thinking, enhances strategic planning, and fosters concentration and collaboration. With great enthusiasm, the student champion hopes to introduce this healthy and intellectually engaging activity to more youth in the Greater Vancouver area.

The GYF MTG Club will host a series of free community events in the coming weeks, including beginner-friendly workshops, introduction sessions, and casual card exchanges, all designed to create a welcoming environment where young players can learn, connect, and grow.

Global Youth Foundation has always been committed to supporting holistic youth development, fostering leadership, creativity, and community responsibility. The launch of the MTG Club not only provides a platform for young players to showcase their talent, but also opens the door for more teenagers to experience an internationally celebrated intellectual game.
