Jerry Zhu, Grade 10 Student Appointed as Founder of Global Youth Foundation’s Math Club
Vancouver, BC – September 02, 2025

On July 30, 2025, the Math Club was officially established to provide a supportive environment for students to improve their understanding of mathematics and engage in collaborative learning.
Our club helps students with their homework, discusses challenging problems together, and works through solutions step by step.
The club creates a space where members share ideas, learn from one another, and build confidence in tackling difficult questions. Our club also explores mathematical concepts beyond the classroom, broadening knowledge and deepening interest in the subject.
“We want to inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster a love for learning that goes beyond the classroom.” —Jerry Zhu

On March 30, 2026, our Math Club continued exploring problems from the Gauss Mathematics Contest practice exam. During the meeting, members worked through a variety of challenging questions and discussed different problem-solving strategies. We also reviewed contest-style solutions, focusing on how to present clear and efficient mathematical reasoning.
Through collaborative discussions and guided explanations, students gained a deeper understanding of key concepts commonly tested in mathematics competitions. The session provided valuable practice and helped participants improve both their analytical thinking and contest-writing skills.
We look forward to continuing our preparation for future math competitions and helping members build confidence in tackling challenging mathematical problems.
